김혜진은 현재 수원 아주대학교 TOD 기반 지속가능한 도시 및 교통 연구센터의 연구원으로 재직 중입니다. 2021년 2월 아주대학교에서 교통공학 학사 학위를, 2022년 8월 아주대학교에서 교통공학 석사 학위를 받았습니다. 그녀의 석사 학위 논문은 'TOD를 위한 역 영향권 내 보행 접근성 판단 기준에 관한 연구'로, al-card 데이터를 활용해 대중교통 개발 지역을 선정하는 기준을 고찰하고 있습니다. 이 연구는 서울에서 지하철을 이용하는 사람들의 퍼스트 마일부터 라스트 마일까지의 여정을 분석하고 지하철역과의 접근 거리를 기반으로 특징을 도출합니다. 이를 통해 대중교통 개선이 필요한 지역을 선정하는 기준을 제시합니다. 현재 보행 환경 개선, 퍼스트 마일-라스트 마일 원칙을 활용한 네트워크 개선, 지속 가능한 교통 솔루션 구현, 지능형 교통 시스템, 교통 계획에 대해 연구하고 있습니다.

Heyjin Kim is currently a researcher at the TOD-based Sustainable Urban & Transportation Research Centre at Ajou University, Suwon, Republic of Korea. She received her B.S. in Transportation Engineering from Ajou University in February 2021 and her M.Sc. in Transportation Engineering from Ajou University in August 2022. Her master’s dissertation, titled “A Study on the Criteria for Determining Walking Accessibility in Station Influence Areas for TOD,” considers the criteria for selecting areas to develop public transit using al-card data. This research analyzes people's first mile-last mile journeys using the subway in Seoul and deduces features based on access distance from subway stations. The study then proposes criteria for choosing regions that need improved public transportation. She is currently researching the improvement of pedestrian environments, enhancing networks using first-mile-last-mile principles, implementing sustainable transportation solutions, intelligent transportation systems, and transportation planning.
