This project aims to comprehensively analyze domestic and international autonomous driving policies and major overseas airport cases to prepare operational standards for autonomous vehicles reflecting the unique characteristics of the movement area of Incheon International Airport, and to establish a mid- to long-term roadmap and institutional improvement measures, thereby presenting phased response strategies covering the transition of the airport operating system, safety assurance, and the redefinition of operator roles upon the introduction of autonomous driving.
Project Description
- Investigating and analyzing domestic and international policies and overseas airport cases to prepare operational standards for autonomous vehicles (registration, approval, safety management procedures, etc.) suited to the characteristics of the movement area of Incheon International Airport
- Establishing a mid- to long-term roadmap and institutional improvement measures to present phased response strategies covering the transition of the airport operating system, safety assurance, and the redefinition of operator roles upon the introduction of autonomous driving
